Zebra release the new ZT200 series of industrial printers through the Midwich group

Smaller and smarter – the ZT200 range is Zebra’s easiest to use and most cost-effective printer yet.

Zebra Technologies, global leader in barcode and label printing, has announced the launch of its new ZT200 series of industrial printers. Replacing the popular S4M series, the ZT200 has been developed with customer feedback in mind, with Zebra focusing on a more compact design with a focus on ease-of-use, setup and maintenance. The ZT200’s space-saving and streamlined design maximises workspace by featuring a bi-folding door that creates a 40 per cent smaller footprint than its predecessor.

Zebra have designed the ZT200 to require minimal operator training and the easiest maintenance of any of their label printers yet.  Any maintenance requirement is displayed clearly on the LED display while inside the machine, all parts that can be moved are clearly highlighted so operatives can be confident knowing they’re able to touch them. The measures mean less maintenance costs as operatives can do most things themselves without the need for a call out.

Easy to operate, the ZT200 range is fast to install and integrate and benefits from new easy-load ribbon spindle as well as a reduction in cost for replacement heads. In another move to simplify operation, Zebra have added QR codes inside the printer which, when scanned, bring up videos of how to change the ribbon.
